actor

Hello! I'm Carol, and my pronouns are he, him, his. My last name is of "Malayalam" origin. However it may also be pronounced ma-zue-van-chéryl.

I am an actor and theatre-maker of Indian descent, born in Kerala (South India), based and located in New York City. I am fluent in both Malayalam and English.

When I am not acting, I create theater with (and for) my Malayali community, attend ballets, design + develop responsive websites, and teach as an adjunct.

I am a graduate of Brooklyn College's MFA acting program, a part of LAByrinth Theater Company’s 2019 Intensive Ensemble, and a memeber of both Actors Equity and SAG-AFTRA.

I have a solo show titled Song of Joy, co-produced by The Tank as part of their spring core productions of 2023, which I am hoping to develop further.

Up Next: Naveen in A Nice Indian Boy at the Olney (MD)
